David died on 5 Nov 1759 in Westport, Fairfield aged ~83.[1]
His will is dated 13 October 1759 and proved 20 November 1759 in Fairfield. He bequeaths the continued enslavement of his enslaved black man Titus and his enslaved black woman Dina to his son David. They were not to be sold to pay for debts.[2]
His inventory was taken on 8 January 1760 and recorded at Fairfield.[3]
Distribution of his real estate was made on 24 April 1760. It was divided among his children, David, Joseph, Jabez, Andrew, Abel, Sarah Carely, and Hannah Couch.[4]
