The bridesmaids, the Misses Rosa and Marjorie Shields wore long, frilled frocks of sapphire blue net over silk, trimmed with hand-made flowers and carried a bouquet of pink roses and blue delphiniums. They wore necklaces of blue tinted crystals, the gift of the bride groom. The best man was Mr . Dave Swasbrick and the groomsman Mr. Alf Shields.
