Biography
- William Shields was son of Abel and Sarah (Sanders) Shields. His parents were from Guilford Co., NC and migrated to Wayne Co, IN. They later moved into Darke Co., OH and it was there that either William or his brother Isaac was murdered and robbed in 1835.
