Sarah Ellen Joyce Shipley, ^[1] daughter of John William Shipley and Mary Dobson Palmer, ^[2] was born in about November 1894 in Bridlington, Yorkshire. ^[2][3] She married Joseph Holland on 26 June 1918 in Elswick, Northumberland. ^[1]
