Biography

Mary was born in 1847 in Green County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of George Washington Shipp and Amanda Miskell.

She married Aaron Rice Caffee on 23 January 1868 at her parent's home. She and Aaron were the parents of 5 children:

• Amanda Caffee
• Hilda Jane Caffee
• Samuel Caffee
• Washington Caffee

Mary died on 4 August 1889 in Taylor County, Kentucky and was buried in the Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.
