He passed away on 5 August 1765. His will is dated 27 July 1765 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. He mentions his wife, Sarah. Sons, Nathan, Joseph, Henry, and Peter. Mentions his daughter, Rose's three children, Sarah, Job, and Solomon. Joseph Shippee approved the administration.[3] His date of death is recorded in the heading of his inventory which was taken on 12 August 1765.[3]
