1803 Notice! Whereas Lydia, my wife, has left my bed and board, and has behaved herself in an unbecoming manner, this is therefore to caution all persons from harboring or trusting her on my account, as I am determined not to pay any debts of her contracting. - Abiathar Shelly, New Salem.n The members of the Hampshire Missionary Society are hereby notified that their meeting stands adjourned to the second Thursday of January next in Northampton.

They divorced around 1807 and appear not to have any issue NOTE; have not found a source for this

2nd wife Abigail Ramshell/Ramsdell (1785–1849) married about 1816 NOTE: have not found a marriage certificate. They appear to have had at least 7 children.

3rd wife Ada Rebecca Harris (1867–1948) (m. 1888) NOTE: Ada cannot be his wife she is born after Abiathar's death.

I believe that his marriage to Abigail had to be sooner than 1816, perhaps closer to the birth of their 1st child Deborah born in Massachusetts around 1808. Their next child Charles was born in New York around 1810. After that they appear to have made it to Ohio and settle around Erie County. NOTE: none of this is backed up with any evidence or sources.
