Son of Oliver Jackson and Cora Catherine Wilson Shivers. Husband of Ida Mae Jones, married 1 Apr 1948; three children were born to this union. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Shivers; two sons, Ronnie David and Dennis Keith Shivers; two sisters, Wilma Price and Juanita Miller; and one brother, Paul Shivers. He is survived by his wife Ida Mae; two sisters, Phyllis Cyr and Shirley Myrick; and one brother, Stanley Shivers.
