Solomon was born in 1828. He was the son of Daniel Shobe and Elizabeth Parsons. He passed away in 1912.
The other son, Solomon, was born on Louter Island and married Susan Callaway, a direct descendant of Daniel Boone. He made several trips back to Virginia to visit his sisters. His farm in Boone County has never been out of the family, now being occupied by his grandson Frank Glenn.
