Biography

Noah was born 6-15-1860. Manoah Shockley ... He passed away 2-17-1915 as per his menorial record and headstone picture on "Find A Grave, ID# 91196934" . Also found his mother & father as well as his wife Joanna Sarah.[1]

Noah was a miner in West Virginia for some time as well as being a farmer. It is possible that he moved in with his son Calvin and wife Nancy Jane, after his wife Sarah passed away. Sarah died of tuberculosis as well as himself as per his death record.
