SALISBURY—Louise Shockley Pusey, 86, of Salisbury died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Snow Hill on July 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Walter Shockley and Naomi Lee Figgs Shockley.

She was a 1943 graduate of Snow Hill High School and worked at First National Bank as a teller for twenty eight years. was a member of Impact Church of Fruitland, where she was the head teller for forty years. She took a great amount of pride in cleaning the church every Friday to have it ready for Sunday services. She was known by many people for her delicious cookies, bread and fudge and considered it her ministry. She was also known for her faith and Christian character. is survived by a daughter, two sisters, nieces and nephews and her faithful cat, DJ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney T. "Billy" Pusey who died on May 13, 2006; three sisters, Katie McGrath, Mary Twigg, and Ethel Watson; three brothers, Luther Shockley, James Shockley, and John Shockley.

Funeral services will be held today at 11a.m. at Impact Church of Fruitland. Pastor Wayne Parsons will officiate. Entombment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
