Samuel William Shockley was born 09 January 1840 in Missouri to the parents of William Shockley and Margaret Riggs. Samuel was the husband of Nancy Jane Price the daughter of William Price and Nancy Upton. Samuel died on 18 January 1924 in Joplin, Jasper, Missouri and is buried at Fairview cemetery in Joplin, MO.
