Biography

Daniel Shook was the son of Joseph Shook and Mary Baker. He married Sarah Gunter, the daughter of George E. Gunter and Sidney (Sidnea) Watson. Another daughter of George E. Gunter and Sidney (Sidnea) Watson called Elizabeth Gunter married David Alford Parris and their daughter, Matilda Clementine Parris married Daniels brother Joseph Lawrence Shook as his first wife.
