Leigh Temple Shorey, Jr., was born at Pittsfield, Maine, in late 1924, a son of Leigh Temple Shorey and Helen G. (Childs) Shorey. He married Ruth B. (Doyle) Shirley at Palmyra, Maine, in June of 1950; he died there in September of 1977.
