On 30 July 1905 Helen Short was born to Benjamin Short and Florence Jessie Finlayson at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
In 1937 Helen Bremner Short and Hector Gordon McPherson were married in New Zealand. [1]
On 16 July 2003 Helen Bremner McPherson passed away, just short of her 98th birthday, having been born on 30 July 1905[2]
Her ashes are buried at the rose bushes in the Marsden Valley Cemetery, Nelson. [3]
