Biography
Jeffrey moved to the U.S. in 1896 and worked in Chicago as a sales agent for a cereal mill.
In 1918 he lived in La Grange, Illinois and was a department manager for the Quaker Oats Co.
In 1930 he still lived in the Chicago area and was president of a milling company. In the 1940s Jeffrey and Annie lived at 630 Pine Lane, Winnetka, Illinois; he was employed by the J. R. Short Milling Company. That company was located at 3753 S. May St., Chicago.
He is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, Illinois.
