Mark Shults is found on the First Census of the United States, taken in 1790. Mark is living in Rowan county, North Carolina. ^[1]

"Marck Shuth" and his wife, Barbary are found in the marriage records of Rachel Shuth, who married Jacob Welty, on December 26, 1797, in Bourbon county, Kentucky. ^[2] Marck and his wife certify that they give consent for marriage of their daughter.
