Biography
Rachel was born after 1780. She was the daughter of Mark Shults and Barbara Sears. MARRIAGE BOND: WELTY, Jacob and Rachel SHOULTZ of Bourbon County, KY Bond Date: 30 December 1797. Bondsman: John HENDRICKS. (5 documents later on this microfilm is the consent for this couple; it will also be typed in its proper place on the microfilm). CONSENT of Marck/Marek and "wife Barbary SHULTS" given 26 December 1797 for the marriage of Jacob WELTY and "our daughter Rachel SHULTS". Attest: Henry SHULTS, David WELTY.
She passed away after 1840.
