Mark, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Thanks,

Karen

Mark, I note that you have a profile named "Data Incorrect" (Incorrect-1) as the daughter of Elizabeth (Cooke) Buckner. By looking at the changes to this profile, I see that it was originally Cook-2336 or "Elizabeth Cooke." I'm working with the profile of Judith (Thornton) Buckner (Thornton-470) which is also managed by you. Thornton-470 seems to have a sister also name Judith Thornton who died at the age of two. Can you please allow me to become PM for these conflicting and confusing entires so that I can seek help from experienced d Wikitree folk to clean them up. Thank you.

Mark, I am having a real problem on the Rountree records showing many UNKNOWN's & many Duplicates. Could you delete duplicates, remove/relink children with the wrong parents.

Thanks Jan

Hi Mark. Are you still an active member of the Wikitree? It looks like there are a number of profiles you manage that other members need your input on, either for merges or corrections.

Hi Mark,

I am looking at merging and matching in the 1700's Virginia Roundree and Dudley families. There are some profiles called Living UNKNOWN ... for instance, UNKNOWN-79083 in this Virginia family. If you would please add me to the trusted list for these profiles, I will merge these away (unless, of course, you have some other plan for them).

Thank you, Cynthia

Hi Mark,

Someone asked a question in G2G today about a location listed on some profiles you manage. They currently show "Choconet, Broome, New York" however there appears to be no such place. Turns out that "Choconut, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, USA" is probably the right location. It is in the same county some of the profiles died or lived in.

On the G2G post I provided links to a map, and to mentions of Choconut in a book, with it's relation to the close New York border. Please check it out and consider updating the profiles.
