Andie (Fortenberry) Criminger suggested that we look at the Georgia Land Lotteries to see if there might be something that has been overlooked for Isaac Sibley and indeed we did find a Fortunate Draw.

As can be seen in the right side of the page, we found that "Isaac Sibley of Chatham County, Georgia" drew a "fortunate" ticket for land in Baldwin County, Georgia. Chatham County, Georgia is Savannah. Baldwin County is where the Simmons family, the Goslin family and other related families were living during this time period.

8/2017: Reggie, Andie and I spent 5 August 2017 at the Georgia archives attempting to verify a statement many descendants seem to add to their profiles for this Isaac Sibley in that he "left a will in Savannah, Georgia". We researched Chatham County (Savannah), Effingham County (where Isaac was living at his time of death) and we checked Screven County (where Isaac also had several parcels of land)..... nothing was found in the form of a will. WE DID, however, find ONE mention of an Estate Administrator, his wife, Ann Sibley, buried in the tables of Superior Court Minutes. But that was all. There were NO DOCUMENTS in the form of a Will or in relation to a will other than the one line concerning Ann Sibley.
