There was no marriage in Boston before the Pilgrims arrived.
The Damaris Sibley who was the dau of Richard Sibley and Hannah was born in Salem, Essex, MA in 1666 per Mass Vitals.
We don't know the 1st husband (Mr. Shattuck) of the Damaris who died 28 NOV 1674 in Salem, nor that William of Watertown (or of New Jersey who is the one seen in Boston in the 1650s) is her son.
The book is about William from Watertown, but he wasn't born in 1628 and it's not proved that Damaris is her mother--which is why Damaris and Samuel and the whole Salem gang are listed in the Appendix of the book.

Samuel (1620-1689) is her son. See them at http://tinyurl.com/ShattuckBook
