Alonzo B Sickler was born on July 22, 1915, in Silverwood, Lapeer County, Michigan.[1] He was the son of Ruben Nelson Sickler (1877-1946) and Mary Hutton (1882-1962). At age 4, in 1920, he was in his parent's home in Burlington, Lappeer County, Michigan, with his 3 siblings.[2] He was still in their home at age 14.[3]
He registered for the Draft in WWII, at age 25, on October 16, 1940, in Silverwood, Tuscola County, Michigan. At the time he was employed by Pontiac Motor Company. [4]
He married Jean S. Jenkins (1916-2003) on June 20, 1945. in Tuscola County, Michigan.[5] They had 3 children.
Alonzo was an electrician at Fisher Body Plant at Grand Blanc.
He died on October 13, 1967, at the age of 52,[6] in Flint, Genesse County, Michigan, and was buried in the 'Watertown Township Cemetery in Fostoria, Tuscola County, Michigan.[1]
