Biography

Charles Siegfried was born on May 13, 1814 in Bath, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States, son of Abraham Siegfried (1786–1866) and Elizabeth Foust (1792–1875).

Charles married Susanna Laub (born on February 5, 1822 in Bath, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.).

Charles died on May 31, 1884 in Rock Creek Township, Hancock, Illinois, United States, aged 70. He was buried in Thornber Cemetery, Powellton, Hancock County, Illinois. (Charles was originally buried at the Rosseter Cemetery but he and a few other family members were later moved to the Thornber Cemetery).[1]
