- Gauke Annes Sietzema was born on April 11, 1838 in Twijzel, the son of [Gaukes-6|Anne Gaukes]] and Sibbeltje Faber. At age 27 he married 20 year old Antje Postma on May 11, 1865 in Kollumerland. He died on January 18, 1903 in Oudwoude when he was 64 years old.
