Biography

Johan Heinrich Sievers was born in Dreilingen on 13 Dec 1863. His parents were Johann Heinrich Sievers and Catharina Dorothea Maria Höbermann. Johan Heinrich was married with Emma Schramm (1871-1918). Johan Heinrich (Henry) died in Newell/Iowa on 12 Jul 1936.[1]

At the time of the US 1880 census, Henry Sievers (single, age 16) was living in Grant, Buena Vista, Iowa with his parents (Henry and Katie Sievers), six siblings and grandfather.[2]

Henry Sievers (age 25, parents H. Sievers and D. Hoebermann) and Emma Schramm (age 17, parents Henry Schramm and Marie Wellman) were married in Buena Vista, Iowa on 26 May 1889.[3]

At the time of the US 1900 census, Henrey Sievers (born in Germany in Dec 1863) was living in Grant & Providence Townships, Buena Vista, Iowa with his wife Emma and three children.[4]

At the time of the US 1910 census, Henry Seivers Jr. was living in Grant, Buena Vista, Iowa with his wife and five children.[5]

John Henry Sievers (born 13 Dec 1863) died on 12 Jul 1936 and was buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Storm Lake, Buena Vista, Iowa.[6] Henry Sievers Jr. died in Newell Township, Buena Vista.[7]
