Leo Vincent Siffleet was born in 1890 in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. He was the son of Charles Siffleet and Lena Costello. [1]
He migrated to New South Wales, Australia.
Leo married Lal Howard in 1912 in Gunnedah, New South Wales. [2] They had about eight children, however, Lal died in September 1941. Just after Lal's death, their son Len enlisted in the AIF, listing Leo's eldest daughter Veronica as next-of-kin, rather than Leo.
Aged 69 years, he passed away in 1959 in Gunnedah. [3]
