Biography
Annie was born in 1873. She passed away in 1943 and is buried in the Ross Methodist Uniting Cemetery, Tasmania. [1]
Mrs A. L. KNOWLES, ROSS
The death occurred at the Campbell Town Hospital on Friday of Mrs Annie Louisa Knowles, widow of the late Mr Walter Knowles, Ross. She was in her 69th year.
Mrs Knowles, who spent the greater part of her life at Ross, was of a retiring disposition, and was highly respected in the district. She had been in indifferent health for some years.
She is survived by her eight sons - Edward (Ross), Cecil (Melbourne), Arthur (Westbury), Leslie (Ross), Clarence (Devonport), Horace and Eric (Hobart), and Alan (New Norfolk). Mr Knowles died 23 tears ago.
The funeral took place at the Methodist Cemetery, Ross, on Saturday afternoon. [2]
