[1] He migrated to NZ with his parents aboard the Martha Ridgway, arriving in Nelson April 7 1842, He married Margaret Edmondson in 1855 [2] He passed away in 1894 age 63 [3], with a short obituary paragraph published in the Colonist, Volume XXXVIII, Issue 8106, 26 November 1894, Supplement
