Biography
Born 10 September 1834 in Burke County, North Carolina; died 1 July 1896 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Spouse: Elizabeth Ann Berry.[1]
Marriage
B. L. Sigman executed a marriage bond 22 December 1858, naming his intended bride as E. A. Berry.[2] The rest of the bond form with space for personal information is blank; however, a database at Ancestry gives the couple's full names as Barnett Sigman and Elizabeth Berry.[3]
Elizabeth's tombstone is inscribed "Elizabeth Sigmon, Dau. of Milten Berry, Apr. 25, 1836—Oct. 15, 1917.” [4]
