Sofia Lear, born 4 February 1827 in North Carolina, died 15 February 1917, age 90 years, 9 days, in Broadhead, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Widowed. Father George Sigmon born NC. Mother Ellen Hitz born NC. Informant John Sigmon of Brodhead, Kentucky. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery.[8] Sophia is buried at Oak Hills Cemetery.[9]
