Martha married William Henry Settlemyre on March 22, 1822 in Catawba County, North Carolina, United States.[1] Together they had eight known children including:
Martha Ann Elizabeth (Sigmon) Settlemyre died on October 7, 1947 in Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina, United States. [10] Her body was interred at Old Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery of Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina.[11]
