Biography

Amanda Elizabeth Sigmon, daughter of Andrew Sigman and Mary Teague, was born on May 15, 1866 in Alexander County, North Carolina, United States. She is included as an heir in the will and probate of her Father.[1]

Amanda E. Sigman, age 14, is enumerated as daughter in the 1880 census household of Andrew Sigman.[2]

Amanda Sigmon married Miles Henry Mingus on May 5, 1895 in Caldwell County, North Carolina.[3]

Amanda Mingus passed away 25 July 1947, age 81, in Connelly Springs, Burke County, North Carolina.[4] She is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Rutherford College, Burke County, North Carolina.[5]
