Jón Sigurðsson
Birth: about 1565
Death: 26 May 1635
"Lawyer (Lögmaður) in the Northern and Western Quadrants (Amt), resident at Reynistaður. Was unseated in 1618 because of misconduct. He was considered wise and well versed in law, free from greed, but a ladies man which often came him into trouble. He was thought to be the father of four illegitimate children" (Íslendingabók).[1]
