Jón Sigurðsson
Birth: ca. 1721
Death: 1788
"Farmer at Tungusel in Hallormsstaðasókn and at Bessastaðir in Fljótsdalur. In paragraph 1527, Espólín says that he is Guðmundsson, the son of Guðmundur Ásmundsson. Died pennyless, according to Einar prófastur (i.e. Ættir Austfirðinga)" (Íslendingabók).[1]
