1. Michael Sigwalt, born 1815, who married Sarah Unknown, born 1818, had children, and lived with his wife Sarah, his children, likely his parents and his siblings as recorded on a farm as recorded the 1850 United States Federal Census for Vernon Township, Lake County, Illinois.
2. Anna Magdelena Sigwalt born 1819, who married Jacob Pfieffer, Sr., born 1824, They had children (Jacob Pfieffer and Frederick Richard Pfieffer) and then she passed away in January 4, 1870
3. Casper Sigwalt, Jr., born August 7, 1825, married Barbara Unknown, born in 1835, had at least six children, and passed away on April 27, 1898 at the age of 73. His wife Barbara passed away in 1892.
4. Barbery Sigwalt, born in 1829, who may be a daughter or a daughter in law. She was still alive in 1850.

His name is spelled Seigwalt on his tombstone, and that variant is also known in Alsace.
