Note N2412 Jun 1894 - Columbus was convicted of murder in the second degree and given a life sentence - he was acquited of the crime and released 4 Sep 1902
Columbus's own words are a bit heartbreading as he stated, if he had a choice between 0,000,000 and freedom he would take freedom.
He learned photography while in prison.
Worked as a driver for the C C Quinley Livery Stable - drove a team of high stepping horses hitched to a livery rig made especially for transporting salesmen and their sample cases.
