Thankfull Sikes was born March 12, 1723/4 at Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts; the daughter of John Sikes and his wife Thankful.[1]

On March 11, 1742 she married George Chapin at Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts.[2]

Abiah was born March 20, 1753 and died June 4, 1754
Abiah (2nd) was born March 9, 1755; married Moses Bliss and lived near her parents; she died April 19, 1835
Lovina was born March 14, 1757; married Captain Jonathan Worthington of West Springfield on February 26, 1804. The couple had no children.
Tirzah was born May 11, 1759; died August 29, 1828; married Jonathan Purchase on December 8, 1788. The couple had no children.
Lovica was born November 12, 1761; married Peresh Hitchcock; she died August 2, 1767
Rhoda was born January 6, 1763 and died August 3, 1767
Roxanna Salvania was born March 31, 1765; married Beriah Howard of Springfield and then moved to Winhall, Vermont
