Biography
Nancy Amanda Sikes was born 7 May 1867 in Tattnall County, Georgia, the daughter of Dyer C. Sikes and Tempie Collins Sikes[1]. In 1880 she lived with her parents and siblings in Cobbtown, Tattnall County[2].
She married Wilbur R. Coleman 28 March 1892 in Tattnall County, Georgia[3][4].

In 1900, they lived in Emanuel County, Georgia with their children Lissy, Reamer, Brooks, and Annie L.[5]. After her husband died, she and her children Brooks, Ada, and Kelly lived with her sister Vianna Moore and her husband Thomas[6].
She died of arteriosclerosis, albuminuria and mitral regurgitation on 21 June 1936 in Cobbtown, Tattnall County[7], Georgia and was buried at [ Conners Baptist Church Cemetery], Cobbtown, Tattnall County, Georgia[1].
