Biography

Jasper Wilson Sikes was born 14 Jan 1879^[1], twin of Roan Sikes, the son of Dyer C. Sikes and Temperance Collins Sikes.

He appears on the 1880^[2], and 1900^[3] census in the household of his father, Dyer Sikes.

He married Edna Coleman. In 1910, they lived in Cobbtown, Tattnall County, Georgia, with daughter Martha and nephew Clayton Coleman^[4].

He registered for the draft for World War I and was described as slender, medium height with brown eyes and black hair^[5].

He died 8 January 1951 and was buried in Sunlight Cemetery, Cobbtown, Tattnall County, Georgia^[1].

He is mentioned on the death record of his daughter Martha^[6].
