The early years
Wilma Geneva Sikes was born in Allen County, Kentucky[1] on the 3rd of March, 1926[1][2] to Dewey Sherman Sikes and Oshea Mae McPeak[1].
Family life
She married Pelley Carlene Wilson < [3] on the 28th of May 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky and they would have 4 children:

Death
She died on the 12th of June, 2011[2] in Jefferson County, Kentucky and she would be buried in the Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky[6]
WILSON, WILMA GENEVA[7] 85, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011.
Wilma is survived by her children, Living , Pat Baechler, Living and Living ; sister, Living; and a brother; Wallace Sikes. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 pm. Thursday, June 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A Visitation will be held 2-8 pm Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Please visit us online at www.archlheadyresthaven.com
