Biography
Born 1841 Skidby
Ann Silburn was born in 1841 in Goodmanham, an ancient village on the western edge of the Yorkshire Wolds near Market Weighton. [1]
- Ann is the daughter of William Silburn and his wife Sarah Ellison.
Silburns 1851 Goodmanham
In 1851 William Silburn, Ann's father is in Goodmanham with his wife Sarah 48 and four children ranging from 11 year old Martha to twins Henry and Charles who were 7. [2]
Marriage in Skidby 1863
In 1863 when Ann is about 22, she marries William Atkin in Skidby on the east side of the Wolds not far from the growing city of Hull. Here her parents had settled. . [3]
