In 1871 Willm Heny Silk (age 7, Scholar) lived in Wednesbury with his father John (36, Iron Worker), mother Maria (36), and four siblings: John Jas (13, Scholar), Sarah Jane (11, Scholar), Ann Maria (6, Scholar), and Samuel (0).[2]

William married Mary Ann Clark before 1896. No marriage record has been located, they may have been common law.
