Research notes

  • Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria: no record found of any children to Nehoslav Sima
  • Births, Deaths and Marriages New South Wales: no record found of any children to Nehoslav
  • There are records of an Otto Sima in Victoria, but the families are clearly not connected.
  • The Petronella Sima who was not Nehoslav's wife settled in Tasmania and lived in extremely difficult circumstances. There can be little doubt that she is a different person from Nehoslav's wife.
  • State Library of Victoria

slv.vic.gov.au/primo_library/libweb/action/dlSearch.do?dscnt=1&onCampus=false&query=any%2Ccontains%2CSIMA&bulkSize=20&tab=default_tab&group=ALL&vid=MAIN&institution=SLVPRIMO&fromLogin=true&search_scope=Everything - 101 results but nothing obviously relevant.

  • Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria https://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/indexsearch.doj no results for births, marriages or deaths to 1988. [Note: this is possibly because the SIMAs died after the records that are currently available.] This raises the question of whether they had children.
