Celia was born in 1856. She is the daughter of Benjamin Simcox and Emeline Holcomb. She married Sanford Reese in 1871. She passed away in 1917 and is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas.^[1]
