Abel MATTHEWS, age 21, bachelor and fisherman of Parson's Pond, son of Thomas MATTHEWS, fisherman and Caroline SIMMONDS, age 17, spinster of Parson's Pond, daughter of James SIMMONDS, fisherman. Married in the aforesaid place according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England. By me Charles W. HOLLANDS (Priest). This marriage was solemnized between us, his mark X Abel MATTHEWS & her mark X Caroline SIMMONDS. In the presence of us, James SIMMONDS, her mark X Caroline FRANCIS.
