My Simon line (maternal grandfather's surname) is supposed to have come from Morschheim, Kirchheimbolanden, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. But it's not 100% sure, and there are rumours that they also may have been Huguenots, so you never know - we might be related after all! :)
