Amy was a Milliner all her life. She's working in Toledo in 1911. By 1920 she was in Akron and spent most of the remainder of her life in the Akron - Barberton area. By 1924, she and her sister Alma Leona Simon had established the Simon Hat Shoppe, in Barberton, and it lasted at least into 1928, according to the Akron City Directories, which include Barberton. In 1930 she was a milliner in a retail store in Salem City, Columbiana County and in 1940 she was in Massillon, Stark County.
