In 1930, Peter Simon, age 77, was living on a farm located in Rubicon, Dodge, Wisconsin.The family consisted of Peter, his wife Barbara and two children, Agnes (age 30) and Henry (age 26)^[5]

He died in 1934 and was buried in Saint Mary of the Hill Parish Cemetery located in Hubertus, Washington County, Wisconsin.^[8]
