Kimberly is the only biological child of Steven Linus Simon and Ronda Jean Byers Simon. Half sister to Nathan Brad Simon (biological son to Phillip Scott Bachesta and Ronda Jean Byers, adopted son of Steven Linus Simon and Ronda Jean Byers Simon), Half sister to Nicole Marie Simon (biological daughter to John Biggins and Ronda Jean Byers, unofficially adopted daughter of Steven Linus Simon and Ronda Jean Byers Simon). She met her husband Nicholas "Nick" Adam Herrera in November 2004 at the age of 19. They married in the summer of 2007, she was 22 years old and he was 27 years old. She was the 'bonus' (step) mother of Nick's two children from his first marriage to Amanda "Mandy" Fay Different Herrera. She was the biological mother to two children; Keira and Piper Herrera.
