Judith was born on 10 February 1810, and was baptized the following day in Pointe-de-Lévy. She was the daughter of Jean Simonaut and Marie Côte.[1][2] She married Jean Baptiste Quentin on 8 November 1825 in Pointe-de-Lévy.[3][4] Later widowed, she married Jean Evariste Volant on 3 October 1854 in Rimouski.[5][6] She died on 15 January 1876, and was buried two days later in Saint-Anaclet-de-Lesssard.[7]
